Matt, Welcome to the group, neat car too. Send the photo into photoshop (Ctrl+E), select image, select stretch/skew, in stretch reduce the percentages, save, rename, close photoshop, select new image name from picture folder to upload(double click)there you go! P.S. I assume you are using Windows, also resize before you compose message is likely easier to manage.

Cool mate, I quite like the Old MZ soarers, they have a nice 80's JDM look to them. Great colour and wheels too!

i know they are a bit wide, i thought about taking it off and putting a sticker number plate to the side next to the blinker but the front might look a bit bare without a big bling frontmount...

Matt, Maybe a spacer behind the plate so it isn`t bent into the recess. |

| I found that the 5 number plate fits very nicely in the recess at the front of the Soarer and can be ordered from the RTA.

Matt, Here is a shot of the spacer on mine, it is not in a recess, but to allow for a different hole spacing without drilling my plate, I am sure you get the idea.

OR you could cut out that section where the number plate would go and fill it with an intercooler and do the dirty jap style number plate mounted to the side ! That would look sick

hi guys i am having some trouble can anyone help?? today i dropped the transmission fluid and put in some new stuff and a bottle of stop slip to solve my problems but it was no help. When i am driving along at road speed and put my foot down the car does not drop back a gear it just revs hard until i back off then it eventually finds the gear. when accelerating hard from a stand still it accelerates as normal. I got a diagnostic test done on it and the results were: code 14: ignition signal-no signal code 31: volume air flow sensor(maf) sensor curcuit code 32: volume air flow(vaf) sensor code 34: turbo charger (tc) pressure high/low code 42: vehicl speed sensor code 51 switch signal-park/neutral switch. A/C swith malfunction strangely my speedo has not worked since i bought the car but after a fluid chance it started working? maybe coincidental? Is the vehicle speed sensor responsible for speedo and gear selection. Anyone had this problem before if so what was it as the place where i took my car said they couldnt be sure what the problem was...

Do you have anything attached to the ECU, eg RSM or similar?

peter, i dont know what a rsm is but i do have a hks fuel cut defencer, however it has been in the car for about 6 weeks now and it has only in the last few days started to do this, by the way it is an mz soarer with a 7m in it.

oh and did assume the first four faults were fcd/boost controller related and assume they have nothing to do with my problems, however i am only new to the turbo world and could be wrong...

OK, I know zip about turbo engines, but if the FCD is wired to the main ECU, then check the wiring connections. If they are dodgy, then the ECU can get wrong or no information and not be sure what to do.
