I am the proud owner of a Bronze Soarer V8 Automatic Model E-Uzz30 for 7 years. Love the car but I am getting a warning message that the Cat is overheating. My questions are (A) Until I can fix the Cat, will it cause damage to my engine? and/or (B) Will it catch fire? (C) The warning message goes on and off while I am driving. Could it be a loose sensor wire plug?

John. The cat light can also be caused by the P/S pump leaking into the alternator. Common problem. If so, get it fixed and the alternator cleaned out now, as if you wait, it means an alternator overhaul as well as the P/S pump.
