HI I'm Gary from Melbourne Australia, I'm pretty new to the soarer side of life, only just got mine a few weeks ago, I'd always wanted one, but could never find a decent one, but i finally found one, almost mint condition. light interior with woodgrain highlights, ocean blue exterior, I'm loving it.

Interesting car... 97 rear lights on a 94 front and rear, and what looks like 97 interior parts. Also that aerial arrangement on the dash is interesting and something I've never seen before.

Dunno, The dealer i got it off said it was an Australian delivered (not import) '94 lexus sc300, it's got lexus badges front and rear, but japanese writing on sun visor, some engine plates and "toyota" on all the windows, engine cover, ect... i've got no idea what the difference is, i read that lexus sc300 wasn't released in Australia. any clues or where i can cross reference the VIN or something?

Gary, firstly a warm welcome to SC, and congrats on having the good taste to wait until the RIGHT car came up. Sadly too many folks jump in to the first apparently decent one they find, only to be bitten in the arse by expensive repairs down the line.
If you want to post up your chassis number Gary, I'll confirm for you what the car is, and what month/year it was manufactured.

I got the $120 one, it was worth it, it's easy to install but time consuming, removing the old immobilizer was the hardest part (mine was a multi-point, black wiring loom one) took me about 2 1/2 hours total. , one thing I wasn't impressed with is to get automatic power window closer you have to buy a sepperate module! But everything else is really good,
