Hello everyone, just got my first SC400 and looking forward to making it a sweet ride. It is a 92, Black with Grey interior. Has a small power steering leak, other than that it run really smooth. My question is, What The Heck is a SOARER?? I look forward to exchanging information with all my new friends here! I notice a lot of you guys are from Australia, I'm from Virginia, hope that's not going to be a problem. Looking forward to chatting with you guys and gals! Rudy

Hi Rodolfo. A Soarer in the Japanese manufactured equivalent to the SC-400. It was available with more options, different engines, suspension systems etc and being right hand drive, we can import them to Australia.

From the outside they are almost identical, a SC-400 is roughly equivalent to a Soarer UZZ30.

Probably not the same, but Soarer V8's leak P/S fluid into the alternator ruining that also. Yours are probably in different positions though.

PS pump will probably be in the same place with different plumbing to the rack I'd think, so possibly could still face the same issue.
