Lots of problems to fix, like getting it to run firstly. Gotta say I never thought I would buy a Soarer. Funny how these things just grab you, and next thing you know - you've become a member of that unique breed of individuals called "enthusiasts" LOL Looking forward to driving this baby, and sharing what I learn here in the forum.

Hi Joe, Welcome, I'll never part with my UZZ32 even with all the niggling age related issues that crop up (nearing the end I hope). The pleasure I derive from it's ability to be both a luxury saloon on the highway and a mean growling mother maxed out in a fast run at a nearby 10km long tight mountain pass full of hairpins outstrips any previous car I've had. They got the balance right. I now have to acknowledge that I am due to the this car a hoon albeit a middle aged hoon. When no ones looking I max my car out every time I get in it and I love it. Fortunately for me it's a toy and I have a sensible reliable commodore when this one needs looking at.

G'day Mike. So Soarers can handle well eh? Here am I looking at the long wheel base and wondering how the cornering will be. I see my car has coil-overs fitted, and (as far as I can tell so far) the air sus is disabled. It would seem that the coils could be shot or just unsuitable - as the upper inner splash gaurds have been wiped out.
What suspension do you have Mike? Any recommendations?

Hi Joe, I only really know about my UZZ32 It has 'active" computer assisted gas/oil filled struts ($8k to recon with labour and all new bushes)and 4WS. I don't know much about the rest however the video link perfectly illustrates why I love my car.
