Hi all, Recently got a 91 UZZ31 Ltd.
Body & engine seem in fantastic shape, just some (minor?) electrical/electronic issues.
It has the common blank EMV screen, but have seen the tutorials on how to take it out & repair, so will give that a go over the Christmas break. Dash seems to be a bit dull - very hard to read in sunlight - but that could be just me. Some lights on the gear shift lever are out, as is the release switch for the boot.
But if that's all I can complain about, I think I've done pretty well!
Can anybody recommend good mechanical &/or electrical mechanics in the Inner West area? I have read good things about Niall in Botany, just wondering if there was someone closer.

Welcome to the club Terry. Car looks nice. Regarding your dash being dull, have you adjusted the brightness settings using the small turnable button near the bottom right of the dash? Probably a silly question, but you never know.

Cheers Brenton.
Ha, you're not the first person to ask me that . (It is up all the way). I don't have any issue reading the speedo, so probably shouldn't complain. Mind you I did tell people the horn didn't work (& was getting a bit concerned as the hazard lights do) when I discovered today it was just I couldn't hear the timid "meep"

That being the case then I think you need to give the dash cluster a good clean out. There's plenty of tutorials on how to remove and clean them (look for Blue Dash Conversion).

Good on you terry, Nam is certainly the man, but if you want it fixed before say 2010 Niall can do the dash fix for you. If you want a brighter dash the filter can be removed (again, niall can do this). Good luck
