hi guys, i'm a new perth member and I've had my car for a few years now so i can say with confidence that it's the best car i've ever owned. It's a 92 V8 limited. I'll attach some pics later, once i've worked out how to do it properly. The only bug bear i've had to date is the fuel pump. Mine's definitely on the way out. I've made enquiries for a new one, and it's pretty big money and takes 3-4 weeks to come from japan. I know there have been a few old threads about fuel pumps and i've made a few enquiries in the sale section but i just thought i'd ask if anyone knew about availability in perth. I'll place a post on the wanted to buy section in any case.

Gday Sean I'm new here myself but I'm finding it is one of the best forums I have seen. I especially like the rules about no text spelling and the wealth of info available at the click of a search button. Enjoy. PS I'm about as far away from you as is possible in Australia. Cairns to Perth cruise would be a week long event.

Would be an adventure of epic proportions, thats for sure! Maybe we can ask BP for 1% of the profits they made today in Perth after putting their fuel up 13c/L for no reason......

Anika, My sense of adventure is tied securely to the balance in the upgrades fund. (currently standing at bugger all) Fuel for a mega cruise could almost buy a new FMIC. Free fuel for the trip...well that would be a different story.

But it would be nice to meet the members plus its not often that cruises are organised but thats a different story if you're trying to save for something. Well I hope it all works out and you get your mods done soon

Nice mate, I like the idea of putting the headunit in the glovebox, because you can lock it! I've been broken in to three times now, three headunits later... (and a few subs, amps, speakers, a Valentine 1) I've seen it a few times now and I plan to do it next headunit I get. Bloody tidy inside and out, but lose that awful steering wheel cover!!!

Sean I believe you can get fake woodgrain ones to match you woodgrain trim. Someone in the know should come help you out here, otherwise do a search on the forums as from what I've seen, it really suits the interior well. Welcome to the forums anyway.
