Name's Ryan. I live in Texas, Elgin to be exact.
I have had a 92 Sandstone 5spd that I sold.
Now I have a 95' Teal Mist 5spd. It has 156k and the crank pulley just took a dump on me so I pulled the motor to replace belts and seals...but then I decided to do a 1jz swap.
So here I am...in the middle of my swap waiting on parts etc..
I've been reading the forums..I really like the timing belt how to. That is the stuff right there.
Here are some pics of my Soarer/Sc300
SC400 front lip Twin Turbo front brake upgrade Magnaflow mufflers 18" staggered wheels
It has the W58 tranny in it now, but I just bought a late model Soarer R154 with the remote shifter.

to Soarer Central Ryan, that's a neat SC300 you have there mate, like the wheels. Good luck with the 1JZ swap mate. Post up some pics when it's finished.

G'day Ryan, Clean looking ride mate. Wicked dish on the rear rims!! (just needs to be lowered to finish her off ) Good luck with the swap, are you a mechanic or just good with engines/cars? I wouldn't know where to start with all the electrics in my soarer, not like simple old cars

Update-
Cars been driven about 10k miles on the 1JZ/R154 setup. I drove it throughout winter.
I've had to fix a few things to keep it going like rebuilt power steering pump failed, serpentine tensioner failed, knock sensor had to be replaced(wiring was fine).
Here are some recent pics. I actually put my Na Supra wheels on the Sc300 for a more low key look.
My Sc is 1995 Teal Mist. It's the same color as the Soarer on the main page here...rare color.
My plans are to now take the R154, driveshaft and 3.76 LSD rear end and swap them into my Supra.
I'm then going to put a W58 with the stock 4.08 rear end in this car which I think will make it a better daily driver with less lag.
The Soarer R154 + Supra TT 3.76 read end just takes away too much low end grunt.
The R154 + 4.08 is ok...but I think the W58 + 4.08 gearing should be even better for daily driving.
