Hi Ladies and Gent's

I recently brought a V8 soarer Limited with TEMS and GPS, and airbagged suspension.. roughly 1 month ago.

At first i was skeptical about the performance considering the weight of the car, and my old man was the first to test drive it before me drving it home.

i can say now that i have no feer for the lack of performance i THOUGHT this car had, it certainly take's off on lower gears after a rolling start.

stop start is not too great but hey, its auto so im not even going to try anything silly.

Over all im VERY impressed with the car, it being a 91 model, they had technology back then that most other car manufacturers couldn't implement into their luxury coupe's and sedans.

basicaly anything you can think of, is electric and working.
interior is IMAC, no tears, rips, broken plastic.. NOTHING

just the TV screen needs servicing, common on all soarers i assume..

apart from that its imac.

heres some pictures.

http://img249.imageshack.us/my.php?image=43302778lg6.jpg

http://img210.imageshack.us/my.php?image=74031753nb7.jpg

http://img144.imageshack.us/my.php?image=19363656ln2.jpg

just a few for now..
engine bay is MICKY MOUSE! spotless not a single oil leak..

car has factory TEMS suspension, japanese GPS, climate control..all electrics, leather..woodgrain.. tv.

20 inch wheels
body kit which i think finish's it off..not OVER done.

exhaust tips

soon to get the Lexus SC400 badges put over the Soarer ones, just makes it look classy, nothing against toyota what so ever.

apart from whats listed.. i cant think of anything else to add..

im not going to molest the dash and remove bits and crap like that.

i have fitted a dvd player in the glove box for the time being, nice neat job, wires poking through a small 20c hole at the back, so it keeps me happy to play dvds ahaha :-)

thanks for reading
i look forward to cruising and meeting more of you
thanks

well i think my car is rather nice looking, no offence to anyone, and or others.

but i never liked soarers before i brought mine, they were too chunky, big and didnt go NOWHERE.

so i thought.. till i saw this one. it's sleek and stylish, and for a small block 8.. it does have some go.

but thanks anyway's fella's :-)

Gday Jengiz and welcome! Your car does look mint and the bodykit is definately not overkill. The wheels look freakin tough too. Well done.

im thinking of smoking the taillights, or buying some off ebay..

what if i had LEXUS, on the left.. and SOARER on the right.. ahahahahah, as a kid i used to call these car's Lexus Soarers..

I think that's a bit odd but do'able.

yes, i know the toyota badge has 2 holes behind it,

i can put the Lexus badge there i gues.. the big L.

but i dont know if the pins on the back of the L badge are the same distance apart as the Toyota badge
i was trying to slice it away with fishing wire the other month, its a dam tricky process..!!!

Is that an aftermarket lip on the front of your stock front end? Looks like the one i was trying to chase up. (missus smashed mine into a corolla)

I am not going to comment on that Miles, i didnt purchase the car because i want to thrash it and end up rapped around a tree, i purely purcahsed it because after i test drove it, i KNEW this was the car for me..for the next few years at my budget.

After all, you purchase the car that makes your heart throb the most..

And for me, if that mean's bending the law, out of my favour, then im willing to do it.

Thats my desicion.

And RICK, im not sure what the name or brand of the lip is on the front bar, yes its a stock bar with the lip on, i think its sexy :-)

Well enough said today from me,

your all a lively bunch, im going home now, work is over ahaha :-)

toot if you see me on the road

Thanks.

Regards.

Front lip is a Vertex Lip kit. Comes with them sideskirts and rear lip too. Check the Team Jetspeed website, or Carmate.com. I have dealt with one of them, and do not really recommend if your not local.

Miles is right, under the new rules any 8 cylinder or turbo is a restricted vehicle- that's if you got your license after July 2008. Under the old restrictions the v8s were just legal, but TTs weren't.

But I don't know anyone who's been pinned for it.

Nice car mate, we'll see you on the cruise.

I had the joke of my life the other day at the office. This young lady who work with me came up to me and asked "Is your car a skyline?"
I turned and looked at her like WTF!! Are you serious..."No it's a soarer." I said.
She comes back the next day, I told my boyfriend about your car and he says that they are not for racing....he just got a skyline." I told her to tell her boyfriend to bring his dead car and let me stomp a mudhole in his backside. She told him and he parried out. He said he has to get his engine ready. I told her that we could line up stock on stock. He's scared. I have under my belt, beaten 2 mustangs 8 cylinder supercharged....i think the guys who were driving couldn't drive; an Evo, an Impreza, a 180sx tuned and a skyline. These cars are Beasts. I have a stock soarer auto tt so I know if I put the time and effort into it it'll be ridiculous.
