A bit more info would be useful. Is the seat motor making any noise? Have you checked the switch is working properly? Does the motor move the seat back forward or not move it at all?

It does move forward and backward. Recline wont work. I can hear it click when i press the recline forward. But when I press it to recline back it makes no click sound. So yes the motor does make noise.

Probably have to get it checked by the importer. I purchased the Soarer 3 weeks ago. I have 3 year warranty, just wanted to avoid going through him thats all. But thanks for everyone for their thoughts.

hi, had the same problem with mine. The fix was easy. Pull off the recline button located on left side of seat. You may need to use a flat screwdriver, test the recline by pushing the slide switch left and right. The seat should recline both ways. If this fixes it, then file a small amount of plastic off the sides of the switch housing to allow the plastic button to fully move fully forward and back. This was all it was in mine, the button wouldnt slide back far enough to activate the contacts in the switch. Took me 10 minutes, a flat screwdrive and a small square file. easy. I hope this fixes yours !Let me know how you get on.

Hi ALan,
I tried that, and it did not seem to change anything. I press to recline forward and all I get is the recliner trying to work and you can hear it clicking over from the motor.
When I press to recline back it does'nt do click. Bummer back to square one.
