Hi all, my name is Hugo, from Portugal, and imported a Toyota Soarer from Japan few weeks ago :-)

Its a manual unit, 1jzgte , and current modifications:

- Vertex bodykit
- JIC coilovers
- HKS BOV
- HKS Timer
- Kouki rear lights
- AVS Model 7 wheels 18"
- Single catback exhaust, unsure the brand.

I am waiting at this moment arrival of:

- LSD
- HSD coilovers
- Apexi Dump pipe
- Apexi de-cat downpipe
- HKS FCD
- Fabulous 18" wheels

The car price was around 350.000yens.

Perhaps here is same as Australia. It took almost one month to clear customs.

However, i will not license it. To make this one legal to ride on public roads i would have to pay around 23.000 Euros, in taxes...Thats impossible.

So it will be track only :-)

Welcome! Didn't I see that Soarer on Driftworks?

I hope that if they ever normalize the import rules across the EU they use the UK rules, not the Portuguese rules! :-)
