Hi Again, Would anyone happen to know the power to weight ratio for a 91 toyota soarer? Under the bonnet on the card it says 1400, but i have read its actually 1600? Thanks

Yes, It's a special moment gaining ownership of a Soarer. They are more like 1680kg's. Specs will always vary so the only way to find out is to go on a weighbridge. You can get very decent bonnet resprays for $300 or $400, just got to go to the correct place and it's hard to find one.

I love them, they are beautiful! I'v wanted one for about 5 years and I got one randomly. I was getting a pink limited one and I decided not to get pink because it looked pretty bad, and I found the car I have now and I love it! It does give a fuel smell though, I had changed the fuel lines and filter and It's still there sometimes. My fuel gage is also faulty I think, unless it's just guzzling alot of petrol. It goes up and down randomly. Wow I could go on about my car all day, dont worry I wont.

This is what the forum is about, for you to go on about your car so knock yourself out, so long as you post in the appropriate sections. Also search around as most of the common problems have solutions in previously posted threads. Fuel smell it could be a leak somewhere. Sometimes it could be a leaky exhaust manifold gasket. But if the smell is of unburnt fuel it's a leak somewhere from the tank to the engine. I used to get a fuel smell as my car was running very rich, turned out to be a restricted air filter.

Hi Natasha. If you want to know the exact weight of your car. Take it to a weight bridge. Usually found along the side of main hwys or tolls wys
