Ive finally got around to registering. Have owned a soarer for about a year now. My confidence in doing my own repairs has expanded in leaps and bounds since discovering Soarer Central about 6 months ago. Thanks to all who have contributed really good info and figured stuff out the hard way and fessed up to finding an easy way so I don’t have to (or worse, pay a mechanic a small fortune to figure it out for me). I have a pretty much stock Uzz30 and love it. Its in pretty good nick despite 220K on the clock. I think soarers are the most beautiful car Toyota have ever made (most Toyotas are a bit ugly or pretty boring to look at).
Gid day from W.A .in the south west.I have had this white pearl beauty 1992 V8 nearly 3 years and in that time had to replace the alternator ,cam and crank sensor along with the computer the idle sensor and recently I gave it a 100.000 service replacing the cam and crank seals ,water pump, bearings and belts.last week I discovered the back right wheel toeing in not before destroying the back tyres I put on 5 months ago,It seems that the adjuster bolt came loose or just was not done up ,so keep an eye on your own and don't make the same mistake in thinking mechanics with all the latest gear don't get it wrong somtimes.cheers all.Pat
