Have recently purchased an immaculate 1997 V8 Soarer with 88,000kms. I have been driving a 1991 model V8 since 2000 (a company car now with 311,000kms). The cruise control electronics for the 1991 Soarer was disabled with no problems. The 1997 model is different. Does anyone know how to and or can advise me how to disable the 1997 cruise control. Photos would be appreciated.}

Peter - it's our socialist inept Labor Government still continuing to put us further and further into debt! Hence asset sales and huge hikes on everything government owned. Even my boat rego doubled from $116.00 to $256.00 in one year. Welcome to the smart state.

Pisses me off. My soarer comes out about 10 times a year and now I gotta pay nearly a grand for that. Our other car (a V6) gets driven every single day and it's cheaper to rego.
Makes no sense.

Last time I looked, wasn't much difference between Qld and SA rego costs. But our state govt is in way more debt than they want people to know about also.
