Well fellas i havent posted here since the death of my sc400 [IMG]

So i done a bad thing and picked up a 240sx

Though i accepted this night mare into my garage i still have that spot in my heart for the soarer so i did some searching and picked this up for the 240

But i have hit a wall and the missing information on the wiring is KILLING me. I cannot find anything on the soarers wiring. I have read a few places and hear things about a soarer bible but have had no success in finding it. Im asking the soarer community to once again accept me and please help me out of this hole.

First you need to know which car that engine is from as the wiring is different throughout some models.

It's pretty easy to find pinouts.

You have many options for the 240SX.

The 1UZ from your SC400 into it

or

That 1JZ.

Both engine must have a FRONT Sump to sit it in there.
There is way heaps of room for the fitment ( more so than the SC has )

Forget the factory ECU and its wiring, just install an Aftermarket ECU ( my choice is
www.adaptronic.com.au )
You can then have full control of the engine and be ready for any future updates.

Seeing you have the 1JZ already, I would take the Twin Turbos off it and install a HOLSET HX35 or HX40 ( maybe even a HE351VGT )

I will be in Texas from August 16, where in Texas are you located, as I would like to see the finished project.

My V8 Version ( S13 Silvia ) is,
Currently doing 11.6 1/4 ET.
I just setup Antilag today for testing next Saturday.
( Quick trial today seen 6psi at 2,000 rpm under stall for launching )So some ECU adjustments next week should see 10psi off the line and 16 - 20 psi 1/4 track :-)

Search around at the jzx90 forums, surely you'll find some pinouts and wiring info, if not just make a post and ask.

Vincent,
Email me your address and I will put it in my folder
sales@rushimports.com.au

JZX90 wiring is SAME as JZZ30 Soarer, so it will be easy to find.

I also had another thought.

2JZ-GE from a GS300 ( 140 series ) or VVT-i from a 160 series, will fall into the hole as well.
Then snail it up :-)
Or put a twin screw Whipple onto it.
