After the good meet today, I really want some more parts for my car hahah.

First will be the rims, 18" Work Meisters 8.5 or 9" fronts and 10" rears in all chrome as it goes well with my blue paint.

Next will be the stainless 4-2-1 extractors by Neil along with twin high flow cats mmm.

Amongst other things along the way!

also be advised, chrome and brake dust do not mix, my dad put chrome deep dishes on his car, just a basic 5 spoke design, and they were tarnished in two months, the fronts now look like they have been powdercoated

Yeah if you clean them regularly, all good.

Plus you can get low brake dust pads from Toyota, so that would be a must.

Some pad dust comes off a lot easier too, eg Lucas dust just hoses off nice and easy.

mabye it was cheap chrome, or the wrong pads then.
we did clean them weekly for a while, but after a month dad got sick of spending more time cleaning the car than driving it. they did look good until they tarnished. I can dig up some pictures if you want, it is a blue toyota soarer, looks just like yours without the boot lip spoiler.

Hmm, I guess depends on the quality of material used, the rims I am looking at are made in Japan and are really good quality, hence the hefty price hah.

Cheers Mike!

Umm, new they are $4200 without tires in 18" haha
soo maybe second hand, all owners know these rims are worth a lot so they take good care of them, just trying to locate a set with good tyres under $3000 second hand.

$4200 sounds a bit pricy mate, you might want to try JDM Imports for a quote (JDM is a sponsor on Boostcruising - Yes - I'll wash my mouth out with soap for mentioning that site but in my defence I came across him on Google) for a price on Work Meisters you are after. I got my Enkei PF01s through him this year for $1640 for staggered set of 18x8, 18x9.5 delivered to my door. Good service, I am a very satified customer.

Where they made in China? Or the proper USA spec ones that actually work...

Mike, Goodyear Assymetrics are actually made in Germany.

Christian, go to Boostcruising.com, under the dropdown menu Classified, open the option for Sponsors. You have to PM him for a price as they fluctuate slightly with the exchange rate.
