Re the airbag light, did you put the keys in the ignition whilst the dash was out. That can be what triggers the airbag light to come on.
Often best if you're going to take the dash out is to take the battery out, put keys where you won't be tempted to put them in the ignition. I don't know how to remove the airbag light, but apparently it's a real pain.

Ron, I know Scott and have his contact details, he's just a very very busy man.
James: No I didn't, I presumed the previous owner did. I trued to clearance of it, but it didn't work. (Did it all right bar the bastard actually going away! ). I don't know why I took it to the place with the light on anyway.
Edit: The light is surprisingly easy. Find it here: http://www.planetsoarer.com/dashrepair/dashrepair.htm (Scroll to bottom)

This project is still ongoing unfortunately
Went home at lunch and as I wasn't hungry decided to try and get the struts out so they could be re gassed.
Got the left hand side bonnet fine at the bottom (Unscrewed with a 12mm spanner) but couldnt for the life of me get the top. All I ended up doing was starting to strip it.. Same story for the top and bottom on the right.
The boot ones came out fine though. Any tips? Just hit with 20kg of WD40 or?
I also started up the car and gave it a little rev to keep it from getting 'stale' and I noticed it doesnt back off from high RPM very well and I THINK I can hear a slight hiss 0.5 Seconds after I let off the acelerator. Anything to worry about? I may have to take a vid to show.

Dunno about the bonnet struts, mine are both like new so I've never had any reason to take them off. You have to undo the nut on the boot struts though.
