Turbos are what I know though. I know what makes them tick, and how not to make them go BOOM. I also like the flexibilty of a turbo setup, having more or less power is only a boost controller setting away, not a pulley change.

AH yeah, cool. If your a turbo guy then go for it.
I've always been more of a supercharging guy, but plenty of people have had success with TT setups, my mechanic runs an epic setup on a 1UZ drag car of his, he has lots of space though...

Well so far so good. Seems it has a leak at the exhaust manifold gasket, so I will just have to fast forward my plans a bit and put some extractors on there soon with a nice full system. Had it up on the hoist today and saw when it got complianced it was run into a Y pipe with a 3rd cat converter installed. Some tiny ass piping in there too, so it will be a different car once that and the BFI is done.

Well after doing some more research about what is out there, I have decided to head down the supercharging route. I like the look of the kit from Bullet Cars, with the HTV1900 (?) Aim is around 350-400rwhp in the next couple years.

I have my Rush extractor sitting in my lounge now, just have to organise to get them coated, then be able to afford the rest of the exhaust. Looks like it will be around $1200 for the remainder of the exhaust.
Also today I did my BFI, am yet to drive it, but just from starting it and listening to the intake sound you know its flowing freely now. Between that and the exhaust it should be enough to keep me entertained while I save some money and decide what to do with it next. I have a plan in mind, quite different from what most people do, so we will have to see how that pans out for feasability next year.
