Hey all, im a new member and new to the soarer ownership world. (family has had many though). Bought my 1991 1JZ-GTE not long ago completely stock apart from a HKS turbo timer. Got afew plans which have already been started, buying a front mount intercooler and a hybrid eboost with electronic boost gauge, blow off valve, bigger injectors, exhaust, and lots lots more, im a major soarer fan and wanted one for over 3 years, and now in three months this beast will be on the road. got a pod setup on it now aswell. Any ways, look forward to the mods and the fellow soarer fans, oh i got personalised plates as well, same as my user name, i was soo surprised i got them, so many are taken already.

Hi mate,
Welcome to the club. Yeh I got 550ARN a while ago but have since sold them seeing as though i'm driving a GT Starlet now.
Make sure you set up some nice heat shielding for that pod filter and perhaps some ducting if you can find some.
Keep us all posted on your progress and make sure you come out and meet up with the SE-QLD guys when we head off onto cruises. *just came home from one actually. Check events thread.

Yeah Kevin sounds like a plan. And I allways wanted one since I was a kid. So when I turned 18 I got one haha. Crazy to think I've had it 3 years allready

yeah man, i always wanted one to, just never had the liscence to own, well im buying a front mount from japan so hit me up if u feel like helping, never go past a helping hand lol, just fitted front plate today to, looks sick, also cant wait for my fmic kit, should arrive on friday

Did you use the original number plate mount? Those things are BUTT ugly hey. When i put my plates on the front I just attached it directly to the front bar... nice and smooth look. Would recommend it.
