They are sound baffles I think, to reduce intake roar.

why would they put sound baffles in there... we're only going to take them out ! :-)

Probably the same reason they put such a restrictive airbox on there.

yeah, pretty much. To be honest i didn't notice a difference in power or fuel eco, powers meh tbh, and fuel eco is just •••• lol i got like 25l to the 100 the other day.... not happy lol

haha, I have ! I drove it really calm as soon as i put $50 in it, a couple of spirited driving sprints, but most of the time was quite calm. I does blow smoke on start up ( un burnt petty) So im going to try and track down the reason for over fueling.

Yeah man, 25L/100km is a SERIOUS drinking problem.

Thanks Gary, yes i've reset probably 4-5 times as well as replacing the capacitors. I've also done the plugs, thinking that it might be the O2 sensor ? I have a IFT installed but its only control ignition timing, i might disconnect and try that for a while.
