I've been away for a while, haven't owned a soarer for a while but I've had a couple, some of you older members may remember me! Last one was a single turbo'd JZZ30, I miss it far to much and I'm looking at getting another. Currently I'm sitting on a heavily modified S14 silvia facelift, been building it for two years, sold my soarer to finance it. It's finally finished, looking beautiful and putting out a peppy 200rwkw. I don't want to part with it, so I've decided to get another Soarer to park in the garage next to it. My silvia is an sr20de+t, fairly standard under the bonnet aside from fmic and 3.5" exhaust, running reliable with a Link G4 ECU. After having such great success with this set up, it's got me wondering what sort of power I could squeeze out of a 2jzge by using the same general setup? Money isn't really an issue, being a mechanic I can do all the work myself aside from the dynotune. Has anybody here done this before? I'm looking to start fairly soon, I'll have to find a manual one, maybe do a conversion if I can be bothered (will depend on the money really)
Any advice would be great! Pic is of my last setup, went like the clappers.

The 2jzge has potential and is cost affective if doing the work your self. Heres a link with a nearly finished 2jzge im working on at the moment. May be able to give you a few tips if you go ahead with this.

Hey Evan haven't seen you in a while! I'm living in broadmeadows now, might have to drop by your workshop sometime and you can check out the S14!
I've got a 2jzge sitting at work doing nothing, I'd prefer to go high compression turbo with aftermarket engine management, seem to get much more power for much less money.
