Hi everyone, finally got around to joining this site having used it for 3 years. I've owned my UZZ30 for 4 years now and still loving it!! I live in Nelson which is in the top of the south island, not very many Soarer's on the road around here. Anyway's hopefully i can contribute to this community after having used it for so long, here's some pics of her...

Welcome Sam!
Great looking car... those clean headlights really do make the difference.

Manual V8 with a W55? Definitely different... Nice.
What bell-housing did you use?

Guys cheers for the welcome.

Jason, Used the factory auto bellhousing and an adaptor plate, the mechanic i worked with at the time who previously owned it did the conversion.
the gearbox was pulled down and rebuilt with new bearings before it went in.
Done nearly 50K's with the manual in it now and no issues at all...

Welcome Sam.

Nice to see a good example of a Soarer, and manual as well.

Those headlights are in superb order too.

Good stuff!

Headlights make a huge difference to Soarers... Just like girls - the eyes are the windows to their soul.

Indeed, also one reason I object to those fitting non original headlight units.

I think having it garaged most of its life is the key to good headlights, i've only ever had to polish them once!
also being a low K example probably helps... just ticked over 142K's

Driver's side headlight does get moisture in it though which i'll have to sort... hopefully just a bulb seal
