Figured I should probably say hello as I've been quietly lurking around watching the parts for sale and following some good tech threads here like the S2 flasher mod thread :-)

I'm a toyota enthusiast from the central coast and picked myself up a nice JZZ30 as a daily. I also own an 88 AW11 Supercharged MR2 which is a weekender/hobby/track car.

A bit of the info here is copied from my thread on toymods so if it's a little hard to follow I apologize

I got this about a month or so ago

The good:

Leather interior in very good condition
LCD works, climate works
Tein coilovers, unsure what model however given the quality of the ride I assume they are super street
Turbo's seem to boost fine
Sunroof works with the awesome sunroof deflector
Varex Muffler
Aftermarket dumps

The Bad:
Incar DVD player (seriously I dont understand why people have these)
Power steering is leaking very slowly
Single spinner
Drivers side window doesnt work
Gearbox is a bit noisy
Single spinner :-(
Random trip pieces are broken or missing

Still need to work out what I'm doing about the body kit, I'm still not sold on it and it's screwed into the OEM bars so removing it will look just as bad.

I've Been suspecting that this car had a boost leak till I found a rather bodgey BOV blanking plate installed last week. Pulled that off today and made a slightly less bodgey version which I'll use till I can buy a plumback BOV. Fixed the power steering leak by installing a missing hose clamp. Car also has a smaller then usual airbox, vito's offered me his factory 1J airbox so I'll get that tomorrow when I get the drivers reg then is rego time :-)

Bodgey BOV blanking plate.

After fixing this up I was able to confirm what I had suspected and that this car has certainly been shift kitted. It was very wet on the test drive so it was pretty hard to give it all the stick I wanted to.

So far that's it, just routine maintenance so far really, not a bad buy for $2500 and I'm very happy with how it drives.
