Hey guys, my names Connor I'm from the ACT. I've been lurking the forums a lot lately as I'm currently in the process of finding a decent Soarer to pick up, and this site seems the place to be for pretty much everything
Look forward to chatting to you guys soon, cheers.

Welcome Connor I just recently bought my very own soarer my self. I bought mine in japan and getting it imported. Here's a couple off sites i used to browse the japan auction listings, they might come in handy. I got my car for 10k landed and complied.
Also Tim has a sexy UZZ30 for sale, Send him a message and ask for some pics off it, its really clean

Thanks Jason, I'll check them out.
Unfortunately however, I've only limited funds working a casual weekend job, so I'm looking for a cheap buy that I can fix up in my own time. However if I run into some money any time soon I'll probably start getting serious about looking at some of the Soarers in the surrounding regions, a lot of nice ones out there!
-EDIT- Also forgot to mention, Tims looks absolutely great! Just wish he didn't live so far away, otherwise there'd be no hesitation here.

It would only cost around $500~$600 to get it on a truck straight to your door. I was looking at doing that if i bought it. But if you decide to go for an auction site there's LOTS off hidden cost's to be considered.
The car was $3,000 import broker's fee $1,000 Compliance Checks $3,000+ Import fees (on the boat) $1,000
I have a family friend who runs iron chef imports so i went with him.
There was a white soarer with a super around here going for $6,000 again i would have gotten that but i wanted a black/black car and in the end it worked out a lot cheaper to buy a jzz30 and convert the engine to the 1uz than to buy a soarer v8 and change the interior after.
