Sup geoff! yeah i always wanted to do that to a v8 Soarer.. I remember a few years back someone converted one to an offroader. I ll see if I can find it! it looked awesome!

Oh this could be cute, I wonder what kind of supporting mods you'd need to do outside of the suspension, big wheels instantly create a lot of torque strain on a car, so i wonder what happens to differentials and transmissions. Keep us up to date!

I have been hoping that I wont need to do too many mods to the drivetrain, after all 99% of the racing is gravel/mud/sand. The diff will need an LSD or a locker so I don't go losing control in gravel hairpins. Looking forward to starting this project that's for sure!

Post your progress up in the Track car section. Whilst there will be some differences in your build, basic car prep will be very similar. There are some amateur (mine!) builds, as well as some pretty special builds in there. We have time attack, sports sedans, drifting covered but no rally/off roaders...
