Gidday guys.

Bout my new Soarer about a week ago so finally decided to do an intro.

I currently prevail from Palmerston North, Have been looking for a Jzz30 for abit. This one popped up on TradeMe so bit the bullet and got it.

The car was located in Whangarei, which meant 12+ hours of travelling via bus to go see her.
Loved it as soon as I saw it, and the test drive was the nail in the coffin.

So here she is as I got her.
As far as I am aware, all that has been done is some lowering springs, a Greddy boost gauge and a HKS turbo timer.

Its a 91 with 164K on her. Its in VERY good nick, with original paint with only a few VERY small scuffs.

Future mods will be
-new wheels, looking at something with abit of chrome dish.
-Vertex body kit (probably just a replica kit, as the genuine ones are too expensive for my budget).
-Front mount intercooler of sorts.
-Stainless intake kit modded to fit inside the factory airbox.
-Turbo or catback exhaust with magnaflow type twin mufflers. The cannon look just wrecks it for me.

Those are the proposed mods, however the list will most likely increase as time goes on.

Looking forward to becoming apart of this very informative, helpful community.
Cheers.

Welcome!

Looks like a beautiful colour you've got. Is it factory Bordeaux pearl, or a respray? Reason I ask is I'm not sure when it was first offered. It would appear that it also has the late-model front bumper upgrade and clear corner reflectors as well!

Nice find, Enjoy the car.

Welcome!

Slightly darker shade than my car I think...

Yup, that's the late 96 front bar that has been put on.

Must have been a nice drive home?

Yeah was a great drive home. Not used to filling up in the bombay hills and making it back to palmy with fuel to spare.

As for whether it has had a respray or not, im not sure. i can post up the colour code from my vin plate if need be. And im quite glad with the late model front bar. However that will be off in later days with the replacement for a vertex kit.

Ok googled the vin plate colour. Came back as the common green that everyone else seems to have.
So the car has had a respray, and a detailed one at that.
I cant seem to find any remnants of the green anywhere.
Makes me wonder why the new front bar and respray though....

Nah, had always wondered that myself. I brought that up with the seller.

I was thinking either the dash went and replacement dash went in, or input error at the testing stations etc. not 100% sure though.
Leaning more towards dash cluster swap.

But that, added with later front bar and respray =????

God I forget how long the front end of the soarers are, the last pictures shows it up more so.

Nice colour though, I thought it was Matt Sharpe's car at first haha.

Just a tip, when you do the bumper, get 1994+ glass high beams.

Yeah Im still not quite used to the length of the front of the car. Havent hit anything yet (touch wood) but it ends up alot further then where i think it is.

Hey Daniel, you dont know a Tony down in palmy?
He drives a UZZ30 with the plates EVILUZ? He has mentioned someone up your ways with a 1jz and did a 154 conversion.
