hi guys!
been looking on here for a while and decided to join up!

i live in Broken Hill nsw, makes it very difficult to get parts but i love it out here .

I own a factory perl white JZZ30 GT-TL with a few goodies

hyper gear steel wheeled turbos
HKS fuel cut defender
3.5" exhaust . dump back
100mm thick HKS cooler
water sprayers for intercooler
boost controller (20 psi)
19x 9.5" meshies and 9" front starcorps
lowered on tanabe springs and all nolathane bushes

makes 265rwkw. but i am looking into aftermarket ECU's that can still run the auto. please let me know if you have any ideas :-)

i will upload a pic in the morning for you guys!

Hi! :-)

sounds good mate. welcome.. just please dont put a bullbar or rm williams stickers on it hahahaha

aftermarket ecu you can run a greddy emanage ultimate which is a full piggyback system. will still run auto fine as your original ecu controls shifts.

Try the Wolf V500. Has full auto control, as well as the ability to manualise, or run paddles/buttons to shift, as well as being a full stand alone engine ECU.

Otherwise any Standalone will work with the addition of a Suprastick transmission controller.

Yes they are bad, and No, they can't be changed without taking the turbo's off, unless the studs in the turbo's have been replaced with bolts.

any piggyback ECU will work, or you could source a mines replacement ECU, it's basically a stock ECU just retuned, some are manual only most are for auto's. hard to find them tho.

and as Dan has stated. suprastick auto controller will allow you to use any ECU as the suprastick will do the shifting for you. or allow you to use button on the steering wheel etc..

if the stock dump pipe has been removed before, chances are that the studs have been replaced with bolts. if this is the case. then yes. you can remove the dumps without removing the turbos. i do it all the time. undr the car undo the two bolt flange before the cat, this has a bracket to the gearbox as well. while under the car if you can access the three nuts attaching the front pipe to the dump pipe. do so. it makes handling the thing easier and gives you more room for dump removal. if there is even one factory stud on the turbo housing holding the dump pipe. then unfortunately you do have to remove the turbo, usually only the front one.

welcome to the forum mate, certainly sounds like you got yourself a nice example :-) cant wait to see some pics :-)
