Hi Everyone My name Phillip most call my Phil I'm new here and I just learning to get around this site which I've found so informative and helpful. Just became a owner of a Celsior V8 1990 LS 400 imported by last owner. In quite good condition for age and low mileage. In Black Jade. Each day we are just falling in love with it more. Have two Imports now. They seem to multiply. Have few things I want to change and any advise would be helpful. At moment its pretty standard been looking for a towbar for it as i have a small 12 ft van want to tow, would there be any issues with that. Looking at changing my wheels have standard LS 400 looking for a nice set. Have read on the forum the fronts are different from the back, have 16 " on now. Any advice there would be good. Also thinking of changing exhaust and removing the centre mufflers with straight stainless pipes to give more V8 sound was thinking of putting on Hot Dogs don't want to take off rear mufflers though if I don't need too. Have a few little things that need tidying up, car was broken into on drivers door with last owner but has been replaced but has a bit of wear and marks on drivers door so will need repainting, but hey that will all come in good time. Need electric system check as new battery went flat now so I'm disconnecting battery every night till find out problem there. But I'm thrilled and if anyone has and news they'd like to share would be happy to hear. So Ill keep checking out this site and try and learn more about my new girl. regards Phil

Hi Paul Thanks for the info most welcome thanks mate. Yes looking into the Towbar mob today what I've learnt from here. Have two options at present so see how I go.Dont worry the electric's on this are mind blowing that's why I was a little concerned. Haven't got into the electricals info yet in the forum. Yes pretty proud of my car, have two imported cars now both Toyota.Just love how they handle and drive. (His & Her's) if you know what I mean but the misses has falling in love with mine too. Cant wait to just change a few things and give her that tidy up.

Welcome Phil, that looks in very good nick. I contemplated selling my soarer and getting one of these myself just to squeeze the family in better. Maybe one day, just not ready to move my soarer on yet.
Definitely get that exhaust sorted for the note and they look bloody awesome with a nice big set of wheel's! Cheer's.

Most welcome Kurt yes cant wait to do those few things to her and change my indicator lights to clear ones should scrub up good. Just haven't found the right set of wheels yet..

welcome phillip. nice LS mate 94+ ls400 front 4 pot calipers and discs would be a good upgrade. i have heard of people throwing on a late model front end with no dramas. a stainless exhaust as Paul has suggested would give your car quite a rumble and roar
