Hello everyone! Its been a while since I did any updates so here goes:
Here is the Old Soarer. My first car, 1991 UZZ31. Bought it stock as a rock with 98,000kms. Put on around 30000kms in 3 years. Drove beautifully never missed a beat (apart from the usual cracked radiator top tank). I sold the car in January 2012.
In April 2012 I bought this:
1997 JZZ30 factory Royal Sapphire Pearl paint, probably the only of its kind in WA and possibly 1 of a handful in Australia. The 1JZ vvti had some oiling issues and developed rod knock soon after I purchased it. The car sat around for a few months while I sorted out trying to get it fixed. At the end I settled for a 2JZGTE + R154 setup. I havent driven the car very much as I am away for work a lot but the little that I have driven it, its amazing!
Lastly my daily (if you can call it that) for the last few months has been this beauty:
Not quite as quick as the Soarer in a straight line, but it does make you smile quite a lot.
