Hi there; been browsing the forum for a while and thought it was about time that I registered and introduced myself.
Will come straight out of the closet ....... I prefer the JZ's ....... and I'm British ...... so please be gentle.
Been living in China for 10 years but still manage to visit the UK every now and again where I currently have 3 Soarers.
A 93 TT which is the daily driver (well for a couple of months every year). A 95 3.0 BoB which will be the NA-T project car for my retirement (in a couple of years). A 96 Single turbo VVTi, the Keeper.

Thanks Don; did try to register on SC with the same user name but maybe I've been registered before or someone else already has it as it would'nt let me.
I realised that SC (and Australia in general) is pretty much in favour of the V8. I doubt that I would ever buy one myself but they are a great source of body panels for the TT

Hmm i wouldn't completely disregarding owning a V8 model Chris! There's something particularly gratifying about owning a V8 model. Maybe because it feels like a true Japanese muscle car, rather than the sports car that is the TT. That said, it has to have an opened up exhaust and fat tyres on the rear to feel like a muscle car, otherwise it's just a highway cruiser.

There is no debate, they're both awesome cars, fun for different reasons but still damn cool. I had a v8 auto and loved it now I have a TT manual and it's totally different, they just look the same.
