Hey guys,
I just got my new Soarer. It is a black on black 1998 model. 1JZ-GTE VVT-I single turbo with a factory manual box and LSD.
The list of mods when I got it are:
• SARD full atmospheric BOV.
• R34 GTR RIMS.
• HID kit (wired very poorly.)
• HKS fully adjustable coilovers.
• Cat back exhaust to twin tips. (uses 100 different pipe sizes through exhaust.)
• Apex'i AFC controller.
Planned mods are:
• Raise car.
• Plumb back BOV.
• ADM stereo.
These are just short term mods. I will upload pictures when I get home.
This car is utterly amazing. |

The car had 60xxxkms on it when I got it. It still smelt like a new car.
I had it run on the dyno, they had to do it in third just in case it hit speed cut. However it still made 170rwkw, which more than enough for me.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I found this thing at an import yard one day. We were driving to see the in-laws and saw it on the way. We had already seen two Soarers that day, so it must have been fate. Here is another shot of it when I had it dyno'd:

Nice car mate! The vvti motors are awesome huh!
I'm currently going crazy on mine, still utilizing the factory manifold, but with the addition of a bigger low mount.
Not enough late model vvti turbos on here! |
