hi everyone, i've just purchased a soarer that i think was on this site previously, the owner was greg foord. good bloke, kept this soarer in amazing condition! i couldn't be happier.
few little things need fixing with the car.. air con, heater, saggy door, climate control LCD.. shouldn't be too difficult..
i've been reading threads about fixing the heater, still trying to get my head around it? shouldn't be too hard though.
i'll most likely thrash this forum as i did the same with my motorbike when i got that.

followed the heater fix thread and bypassed the vsv so it is working now thank god haha, think i'm going to try take the valve off and clean it, if that doesn't work i'll hunt down that camry one everyone goes on about.

Hi Ethan and welcome. Take the little breather cap of the top of the valve and spray a little crc/wd40 into it. Then with engine running use the vacuum line you used as bypass and swap it between the bottom inlet and the top breather outlet a few times. You will feel the valve start to free up and move, I did this and heater works a treat now. Also we have a local group on facebook, SoarerSA, and a cruise organised for this Saturday...
