Hey everyone, My names Josh. Just bought myself a 92 tt soarer. my parents have always had jap car, my mum even had a s1 rx7 so I've always been fixated with turbos and anything japanese. I've only owned my soarer for 2 days so far, currently doesn't have rego but only need a few little things to get back on the road eg. Gas struts for the bonnet and boot and just a general tidy up including a full service which I will be doing very soon. Also my abs warning light has been coming up when i start the car and from what i read it could be a number of things, but not having a fuse in the no.1 spot for the abs is a good start lol. anyway here's a picture, I look forward to making some new soarer friends, cheers josh

Josh,
You might look at getting the struts regassed. The original struts are stainless steel etc, and regassing seems to extend the life of them very well. I had my boot struts done years ago and they are still strong. New ones are junk metal.

Thanks guys, yeah neil some nice roads around.
had some surface rust under the passenger door handle which i removed today. I applied rust converter then some filler, hope my neighbours like the sound of a sander at 9 in the morning. Fixed the fuse problem for a whole 4$ but the abs light came on again today then hasn't showed up again so im a little stumped.

Nice one mate . I'm new on here as well had my one for about a month now . maybe we can pick each others brains . i just replaced the stereo in mine i'm thinking performing heart surgery would have been easier
