Howdy all,

Looking to make some engine changes to increase performance a bit, but not sure what to do, what's necessary, and what's just going to cost way to much.

I've been looking at some intake manifolds, a t40z turbo replacement, tuned extractor pipes, intercooler, as well as new brakes and different computer's to add to it.

Is there anything else that could help get out off the 200 hp range?

Intake manifold = Not required. Stock one will be fine
Turbo and exhaust manifold arent required to get into the 300hp range. Stock turbos at 18-20psi will net that and more.

What you need is a good dump pipe, good exhaust, fuel system upgrades, front mount intercooler and a piggy back or standalone ECU.

Any particular kind? I've had a look at some intercooler's but aren't sure which one would best suit to get.

With the fuel system, what kind off thing's are you talking about for upgrading it? As well as the ECU computer's?

First of all Begin with the exhaust as the first thing you do, aftermarket dump pipes are a must and 3" or twin 2.5" Exhaust will work.

Upgrade the Intercooler, It has 2 functions, to flow and to cool, you need one that does both well.

With dump pipes, exhaust and Intercooler upgrade you should make 300hp at the wheels depending on the condition of the engine.

If you want more power and better power delivery, fit an aftermarket ECU, Adjustable cam gears and Boost controller and get this all tuned.

For reliability It is recommended to fit a good and big transmission oil cooler and to ensure your cooling system is in good condition.

A shift kit and good tyres and a wheel alignment will help put this power down to the ground and make it usable.
