I just got my bluetooth obd link in the mail and not sure where it goes. Does it get plugged in to the diagnostic plug in the engine bay or is there a plug inside the car?

unlikely to work on a soarer, it's only sort of OBD I not OBD II

Yeah, but for only $20 can only try and see what happens. I just can't find where I plug it in

true, but if OBD II plug does not exist because the car is not OBD II you maybe searching for the plug long time!

^ exactly :-)

AFAIK, the ODB 2 plug is a different shape to the ODB 1 port.

The mazda plug is the only one I've seen that looks close to it. Going to autobahn at Elizabeth tomorrow to see if they have anything

I doubt it will work tho... the soarer diagnostics are all reported through other parts of the car, not electronically through the plug so I'd eat my shoe if it works :-)

I remember there was a Russian website with an App for an Iphone and also a Box that you connect to certain pins in that connector inside the car on the drivers side, and on the 1JZ I think I remember it read various values and parameters while the engine was running

I would Love to know how it went Jason.
I was looking at one that will pick up pulse signals but for $300 plus all the programs needed ( $600 total) I'd thought I'd see how you went.
