I don't mind the white rims
I wouldn't think that there would be many soarers left in the UK.

Michael - welcome.

David - look harder. No one here is going to come and fix everything for you. You clearly haven't looked hard enough through the site, because you would also have read that there is a requirement to use proper sentences.

This is the Information Age, and rewards come to those who go out and seek knowledge, rather than asking for it to be handed to them. The sooner you realise this, the sooner you will be one step ahead of the rest of your Facebook generation.

David , you could swap the Jap TV tuner for a digital mp 4 TV tuner you would then get all the digital TV stations plus a few digital radio stations they all have inputs for DAB/CD/ etc and USB for movies it also converts the signal to the EMV format ,if you find a sat unit with its own output this could also go through the unit.
Forget about converting the Jap sat as it cannot be done, hope thats some help.

Thank you very much for that dave rose with the factory telephone can you get a bluetooth connection like what they have done with the older mercedes and any idea about the apexi rsm series 2 I got it all working apart from it removing the speed cut off.
If I turn the unit on and put my foot all the way to the floor it wont change gears it just hits the rev limiter.
I followed the install instructions on this site but still not enough help any idea would be greatfull I did buy the unit second hand could that be a problem

You might need to back off the throttle a bit for it to change gears.

I have only ever used the series one, I don't know the differences between that and the series 2.

Getting back to OP

Hi Michael, welcome to the site and the aust soarer family.

Your cars interest me, I always wanted a soarer and had a ford ka as a first car, whilst i saved all that petrol money i finally got a 3L NA soarer.

10 yrs later Ive gone through aloooot of cars and now have a collection including soarers and mr2s (aw,sw20,sw30) amongst other things.

Having big fat luxury soarers kinda pushed me into the opposite light, spartan handling beasts like the spyder/MR-S. Kinda interesting to see you have done the opposite as me...enjoy!
