How are we all, i'm Mike form New Zealand and have not long brought a UZZ30 in ok condition . I am absolutely addicted to these cars now ,but having failed a few things for a W.O.F it has been a hell of a time getting everything sorted out but managed to pass .

Going for this W.O.F has recognised a couple of problems that I got away with .Finding parts here in nz hasn't been easy with only some parts available .Things i need to replace the dash cluster ,the LCD screen for air con and bits for the rear brake light module . I've searched hard on here on how to bypass the module with no luck thus far.
To be fair i would've been fairly stuffed if I had not found this site so thanks to everyone for all the information

G'day Mike, Welcome.

Welcome to Soarer ownership, while frustrating at times, such forums will this will help you out greatly.

Plenty of parts avaliable here if you ask around, unfortunately the market for Soarers and parts in NZ is much smaller than in Australia.

Can probably help with dash cluster. I have a spare but I need to power it up to see what the mileage is and what version it is. It is V8.

Might have a spare brake module, what colour is the one your after.

LCD screens are available from EBay. Takes a bit of work. Tute on here.

Ok. Grey Rear lamp module, have you got a tow bar?
I haven't seen grey modules for ages and only have one left. Your one possibly could be repaired.

Alternator light could be power steering pump leaking on to alternator. Or faulty diode(s)in the alternator.

Cheers Evan I have no tow bar fitted . I have read somewhere that it can be the resistors or something in the module but have very little knowledge of electronic components .I will get a sparky to test that for me as all lights are working fine as they are all new bulbs . The power steering pump isn't leaking onto the alternator but another hose is but fluid is not reaching the alternator . I had a mate put a voltage meter on when car was going and it only read around 12 so I figure the alternator is buggered .

welcome and your alternator problem could be the regulator as my tt threw the same code and that was the cause.
