So after selling my UZZ31 7 years ago and going through 2 reliable but mundane cars (Accord V6 and CJ Lancer) I decided that I wanted something a little more exciting for the weekends. Initially I was interested in an SW20 MR2 but couldn't find a late model one in good condition and the right price.
I decided to have a look at Soarers and couldn't believe how cheap they were nowadays and knew that I had to have one. After a month of searching, I finally decided on this rare blue '97 JZZ30 VVTi. Needs some work to pass roadworthy but overall the condition is great and I believe I got it for a bit of a bargain.

Absolutely love the power delivery of the turbo, though still getting used to the initial accelerator 'dead zone' after having driven a Lancer with it's drive by wire setup for the past 4.5 years.

Ah I see. I thought it was just called Blue Mica haha.
Nothing planned at the moment. Will definitely look into getting some HIDs though. The aftermarket headlights have shocking aim. I've tried to adjust them as best I could but it's still a bit off so might replace them with the originals.

Yep, they're Pedders. Currently set to F12 R10. Seems to be a good balance of comfort and handling. The previous owner had set it to F21 R15 but I found it to be a bit harsh.
