Had a Soarer in the late 80's and loved it so I jumped at a chance last year to get a 1994 Jzz30.
This has turned out to be a really fun car and I liked it so much that I sold off all my other cars so I could concentrate only on Soarers.
Now I have a silver 1994 TT which is stock except for a body kit, aftermarket tail lights, Nissan 16" 5 spoke wheels, and a wood grain kit. I've spent a lot of time just getting it to good running condition and don't plan to do any more mods.
My second Soarer is a 1991 JZZ30, this was a car I got to junk and was partly stripped and in a pretty sorry state but with a sound drivetrain. I stripped it all out and found that under all the neglect was a really nice car with Pedders coil-overs and 18" wheels. I have rebuilt it now with a leather interior, custom gearshift, Cd system with inputs and 4x 3 way speakers, a mount to hook in a 7" Samsung tablet to the system, and some custom detailing to freshen it up inside. All that's left now is a mechanical service, new climate control screen (working on that now), fitting the correct dash (running a poverty pack dash now), and body and paintwork.
The third Soarer is a UZZ31, again I've spent a lot of time getting this up to a decent standard. It's mostly been small jobs such as repairing the seats, replacing damaged trim, sorting out the traction control, sorting out electrics etc. I've also fitted a reversing camera, detailed the interior, and (sacrilege) fitted a well hidden towbar. It already came with extractors and cannons, aftermarket HID lights, 17" Oz Alloy wheels and everything works properly now so I'm just planning to enjoy it. The cannons come with removable baffles which makes it easy to vary the exhaust tone and loudness.
To keep me suppled with spares I've also junked two wrecked Soarers.

Jon.

That's a serious addiction that you have!

Pics would be good, it's great to have people that restore these fine cars rather than just run them into the ground.

Oops, forgot about the pictures, the full pictures and status of the cars is on my website
www.rothwells.id.au . I also forgot to mention that we have a mate staying with us while he builds his house and after driving my cars he went out and got a nice V8 Limited so we have 4 Soarers here.
