Title says it, I just joined and thought the ideal thing to do would be to introduce myself first and explain my current situation.. So, I'm Scott, I'm from NSW Australia (about an hour from Sydney). I'm 22 and been driving for 5 years. I have only owned Toyotas so far, currently a Camry.
At this point in time I do not own a soarer, unfortunately. However, I have been reading through here a bit, researching to buy my first one (and in fact, it will be the first turbocharged car in my family)
In saying that, I have been looking for a sort of buyers guide, as I am (hopefully) looking at a 93 model jzz30 soarer tomorrow, if anyone could point me in the right direction? or give some general tips? From what I've read so far, I can see this community is very knowledgable and I really look forward to the great advice and information I know is available here! Thanks guys

Picked up the soarer yesterday. Pretty happy with it, was a bit sketchy on the ride home -all 4 tyres were bald. Currently in the shop getting some new rubber so I can take it for a drive and get a real feel for it. Yeah I love my toyotas too. Working on them feels much more simple to me than a commodore or falcon. Thanks Tim, I've had a bit of a read and theres a few things I want to do to my new baby already.
