Hi to all you enthusiasts
I bought this 11/96 2.5L VVTi from the Queensland importer in May 2006. With only 37,296 km on the clock it was in showroom condition.
There are not many around in this colour. It has now travelled 89,935km and still feels like new.
Soarers of this type and quality are becoming rare. It won't be too long before the value starts to go up instead of down, reflecting their exceptional quality, style and performance – when Toyota was arguably at its peak!

Hello Clive..welcome to the forum... Very nice Soarer you got there and yes rare colour too. Hopefully one day the well kept examples will raise in value a bit, but it doesn't look like it any time soon. I notice your in WA. Country WA or Perth metro?

Dear Jan
Thanks for the welcome.
I am pretty sure this Soarer was badged Lexus at the Toyota factory, even though it wasn't for US market. Close inspection of the badge locations and mountings match other Lexus models, but I'll never know why. Maybe it was a special order or a Toyota executive's personal car? Do you believe the badges lower the value?

Hi David
I live in the Perth hills suburb of Roleystone. I changed the Soarer to WA licence 2 years ago. But the car just doesn't look quite as nice with blue & white plates…Ho hum.

If you're looking for a small nice easy power gain with no drawbacks, Kurt Atzmuller makes 1JZ vvti dump pipes that bolt right up! Gives a nice increase in throttle response.
