My son's Soarer has a problem where the engine warning/error light comes on every now and then and when it does the car has virtually no power. To keep moving it is necessary to push then throttle to the floor. Once up to speed it then seems to be able to hold a steady speed. If he then pulls over, turns the ignition off and then immediately starts the car, it generally runs perfectly again. I arranged to have the car hooked up to a diagnostic machine which suggested it was the TPS. I have now replaced the TPS but it hasn't resolved the problem. Do you have any thoughts. We are getting quite desperate to fix this issue. Thanks Brian
