I have recently bought a 1991 Soarer and it died as I was driving the very next day.It started again 3 days later and quit again. When driving it coughs once and about a mile later it stalls out and wont restart. I pulled the plugs and it had filled the #1 cylinder with fuel. I changed the plugs and swapped the ecu and the same issue occurs I really want to drive this car. Thank you for your time and I hope someone can help me figure this out I have spent more in tow bills than I have fuel. but I still love it...

it is a 1jz tt non vvti with r154 gearbox also.

Wait till the car faults and run diagnostics.

Maybe remove the plug from the #1 injector and see if it still quits. Filling the cylinder sounds like a stuck injector.

I have tried the bridging for diagnostics but it never flashes and I'm doing it correctly. I have swapped the coils around and it flooded a different cylinder. I have new coils coming but I have never seen a bad coil build up fuel without pushing it out the exhaust injectors seem to be functioning properly

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the car on? possible bulb blown?

I think the light just has a steady blink if there are no faults if you have entered diagnostic mode correctly.

Filling the cylinder is weird, maybe compression check all of the cylinders?

160 in all cylinders except #1 which is at 115
ill check the bulb. I have new coils. connectors and a new tps coming maybe that will fix it.

all you have to do to check the bulb is turn the key on and not start the car
