Each to his own I guess, but I hate those tacked on looking do-nothing mechano T-Wings with a passion - doubly so on a Soarer as it just doesnt need one, good on ya for all the hard work though.

The engine bay is fantastic. I'm pretty nutral on the front bar and skirting (too fussy for my tastes but I would have loved it 10 years ago) - but I just can't understand the wing.
Still, it could be worse - I saw a Mazda 626 yesterday with basically the same wing on it.

There is a Excel with the same wing on it here in Ballarat. Its going to have a fully vented bonnet and vented front venders as well. Dont forget the full interior trim with custom boot and inside fully decked out in TV's and speakers.
A couple of years to go.(hahaha)a long way to go to get what i what.
Im in the process of getting and putting on some Airbags.

And then one day, like me, you will add up all your reciepts for the work you've done and realise you've spent (in my case) $15,000 on a car that was only worth 1/3rd of that. Shortly afterwards you'll sell it for (in my case) $4000 and wonder what the hell you were thinking spending nearly every weekend for the last 2 years working on a car.
Later you will spot a picture of your old car in a magazine after the fool who bought it off you ran it off the track at a friendly meet at Puki raceway and wrapped it around one of the lighting columns. <sigh>

Well to be fair the guy did rebuilt it with a new body shell (he had a lot more money than I did) - and the engine was the best bit about it - a 2 litre N/A carborated engine putting out 220BHP - so at least he saved that.
That was a long time ago, so god knows whats happend to it now.
