GDAY everyone, i've been reading these forums for the past few weeks so i thought its time i started contributing something.

i've recently bought myself a 91 TT 1JZ-GTE, its the second car i've ever actually owned, and my previous car was an 87 toyota corolla. so i've jumped the gap and gone straight for the soarer thats actually a couple of kilowats above the legal limit i'm allowed to drive.
i got it through a private sale, just from a guy in my area who was getting rid of it, i picked it up for $8500 with a roady and a couple of things fixed. aftermarket 17" wheels, the rest it pretty much all stock standard.
the diff has given me some grief ie: its totally wrecked! i drove it for a few days then heard clunking coming from the rear, so i sent the diff it off, ended up getting it reco'd then the bloke said it was too wrecked and he couldnt get bearings, BUT then he found me a Torsen LSD which im more than happy with.
there's a little bit of rust i think, in the radiator (the water/coolant was kinda brown )
Other than that it's a very nice car, in pretty good condition, i've only got one photo at the moment, and it was taken with my phone, i'll upload some proper photos soon.

im not much of a petrol head like almost all of the soarer owners here, and i know it seems like a waste for me to buy this car, but i couldnt go past it, its just so damn nice.
im a fast learner, my dad's a petrol head so in a few months i'll turn into one too.

okay, i'll shutup now.

Not any normal antifreeze, get the genuine Toyota part, you'll thank yourself.

And welcome!
