hi justin i understand you can run up two 8psi without a piggyback i have an eaton m90 running 6psi..which is plenty and am running standard ecu why not run 6 or 8 psi and you wont have any problems....saves alot of hassle
This is a less expensive alternative gives you all the control, it is tried and tested now with great results on my Supercharged V8, you can also adjust the tune with a laptop yourself, the software and cable comes with the kit..

I'm certain a Powermod piggy back will work no problem. There used quiet a lot on new ford boss engines and holden ls1. Checkout latest street machine, pretty certain there is a commodore ute in it called "LUNATI" that has a full built 383 stroker engine, big jets and a pro charger at 12psi and is making 600rwhp, and its running a PowerMod.

Thanks Benjamin Yea Damien thats mine really stoked with it I'm going to change intake pipe so that it looks neat put plastics back in place like that one over the cruise control motor and install piggyback ? hope to have completed in 10 days some pics then

OK the faster bits pictures are here now. Moristech ECU (piggyback) is now on and going, injectors run out of steam real early. Showing 200 or so on the wheels, did see 240 momentarily but waaaayyyyyy too lean. Finding some injectors now

On holidays at the moment Guys so don't get near here real often. Where is the biggest restriction in exhaust system and does anyone know how big factory fuel pump is thanks for all help. also wheels were on when i brought and that morristech piggy back has inbuilt 2.8 bar map sensor cheers

The whole exhaust is restrictive - seriously! If you want to save some dollars you can replace everything from the factory cats back with a dual 2.5" system and 2 offset mufflers. If you can afford to do extractors at the same time it's well worth it.
I think the fuel pump is the same on both V8 & TT and if it is they can support pretty big HP. One of the TT guys would know the limits.

Sweeeet!! Very nice, Justin.
How's the bottom end response with a blower like that?
The most restrictive part of the exhaust is the centre muffler. But listen to Damien and replace the whole lot if possible, including Neil's headers. It will sound much better as well.

Good point Tim but the centre muffler usually gets replaced with a cat during compliance, making it worse. The compliancers could either replace both the stock cats or install 1 new one so that's what they normally do to save costs.
If that's how yours has been done then the 2 stock cats should be fine which means you can remove the restrictive centre cat and replace it with some straight pipe - that would be your cheapest option.

Never heard of a raptor. It looks very similar to a procharger. There more like turbochargers than traditional superchargers, just belts driven. Much more efficient than traditional roots blowers.

They (centrifugal) tend to give an increasing amount of boost as revs rise, more suited to engines that already have a lot of bottom end shove (Gen3's).
The 1UZ is more suited to the positive displacement chargers as they tend to need bottom end torque to get the car off the line. With a centrifugal charger on a 1UZ you're going to get even more top-end torque - sounds like fun

Nothing new, centrifugal superchargers have been around pretty much as long as standard positive displacement. As mentioned, in most supercharger applications, they just dont work anywhere near as well.
