hello,l just bought my 1st soarer a week ago i picked her up for 6 grand.i never thought i would buy one but i did.The first time i drove her i was in love.anywho its a 91 toyota soarer twin turbo it came with the rims and a alpine head deck,turbo gauge,pod filter.here r some pictures

Wow 6 grand! And I thought my Soarer for 8 grand was cheap!
I also thought I'd never own a fast car either - let alone a Soarer, now I don't know how I ever managed without it!
Did it come with a roadworthy?
And... is that some Mother's Plastic Polish on your window sil? |

Yeah, it's a good buy.
Yeah true, I was driving an XF Ford Falcon on gas.
From the Ford to the Soarer.......it's like WOW!.
Nah, I had to get one, they didn't pick a thing wrong.

It is very silly Rob, no doubt.
However I went to Fowles auction last week with my brother outlaw. Some of the cars that were going there were so cheap it made me sick.
Late 2003 magnas still under warranty with 70K, clean with service history for $8k
There was even a blue TT pov pack. stright and clean . It only reached $5K and was passed in.
Second hand cars are only worth what people are prepared to pay for them.
With soarer, you get so much for your $$$$ or should I say cents it is not funny.
Very very under valued!!

They are hard to sell, no doubt about it - age, large petrol hungry engines, expensive insurance, and peoples perception of them being complicated and expensive to repair all put people off.
Personally I don't care - cars always lose value quickly, and I intend to keep my Soarer for at least another 3 or 4 years, at which point it'll owe me nothing anyway.
In the mean time I have a car that I really appreciate and enjoy driving. |

LOL man I paid almost twice that for mine and I was stoked! Only one thing for it spend all that money you saved customising your soarer  Aesthetically your car is not too bad I suggest a few tasteful power mods (exhaust+dump, FMIC, better air intake system, boost + air/fuel controllers, and a shift kit + oil cooler if you still got any cash lying around) Those mods will go a long way to improving your 1/4 mile times Great buy though mate and |
