Hello !

I'm Matt - Perth Western Australia. Have owned my UZZ32 for a year now and appreciate it as much as the next soarer lover.

She's pretty much stock factory, apart from the exhaust system, which has a nice grumble tone. The end of the system, the two mufflers were actually stolen from a late series rx7... strange as that may be.

Staying on the strange vibe.. something I'm yet to get around to changing - When i bought the car, it was fitted with tickford 17 inch xr8 rims... bizzare

I'm not really a forum user as such, I've decided however that since the car will be up for sale soon, this particular forum would be a nice place to find her a "good home" so to speak.. someone else that will really appreciate the car.

Having a company car, the 32 is fantastic to take out for a spin - but is a surplus.

I've done all the regular maintaining myself in regards to changing filters, oils, plugs etc etc and done this on a relatively regular basis (I'm lazy so not every 5,000 clicks - closer to 8,000/9,000) On the clock it has about 230,000.

Two things wrong with the car. I have the infamous active suspension bounce. lucky ONLY at low speeds however. Thanks for Peter Scott's planet soarer site, this is a low cost, easy fix - which i'm in the process of doing now. By the time the car is sold the suspension will feel like new, and all for under 200 per shock

Other issue is the touch screen. It works when it feels the need. The actual display, when it's working, is perfect, not a damaged pixel to be seen, and the touch function works fantastic. It just doesn't come on most the time (more when it's warm) So that will need to be fixed and i'd rather it be the new owner haha. However saying that I'll probably get bored and fix it if it doesn't sell soonish.

So I guess I'll be chatting in here, getting to know you all, and soon find a new owner for the old queen. And you know what? I'd love a new GS450H }

Matt.

Normally your post WOULD be deleted as opportunistic, BUT...............Since you have posted VERY well (NEW newbies take note!), and you're selling a 32, I wish you well in finding a deserving home for the old girl.

Haha - thanks Don

Much appreciated.

I must clarify, however much my post sounded like a sales pitch, that I'm introducing the car as a FUTURE prospect to those out there interested.

I'm here to learn and share what I've learnt from owning a few imports, Skylines, Silvias and now a soarer for the past 12 months.

I've found the soarer the most, let's be kind and say 'complex' to tinker with. However I've since found the quality of build and the components used within the toyota JDM vehicles, is superior to that of other brands. Right down to things like coil packs, window seals and the like!

Matt, it would be rude and downright shabby of you not to post any pictures of this 32.

Which one of the 873 is it?
