| Yeah I figured out where the mirror demisters are already Joint thoughts are that its not factory (no grey, every other switch is colour coded), so it could just be a switch that does nothing? Could be for after market lights? If it does nothing I will have a use for it |

| I think that is the switch that works that antenna thing on the stock bumper. The antenna that doesn't do anything, but helps you judge where the front of your bumper is?? Neil/ Peter/ Don, is this correct?? |

| Leon, I've got that switch on my UZZ31 too and its for the sensor at the front/back. You can turn the sensor on/off.

| No Joseph, that button is on the driver's side window controller. This button is NOT for the super sonic mirrors. |

| Cool, Thanks Daniel I'll switch it on and try and back into a wall Might be handy as my depth perception is pretty dodgy, so i guess most of the time, pretty good guess for the best part though! |

| Leon dude, It IS, as Daniel has said, the switch for the Dealer Option "Sonar Parking", but looking at the arse end of ya Soarer, the sensors are long gone. They're little Black ring thingos, and the idea is that the closer you get to whatever the hell ewe's is about to back into, the faster the beeping noise inside the car..........untill!!!, it becomes a continuous Beeeeeeeeeeep!, OR you like totally LUNCH whatever ewe is heading for. Cool Eh!

| Yeah seen em before on a few different cars. I noticed some wiring in the front bar that didn't lead anywhere in particular. The care factor is minimal, if they are there cool, but i'm not one for relying on them. I doubt they are going to tell you if you are about to rip off your front bar (..shh i know it won't make much difference to mine... only a month more to wait) |

| Just getting my reversing sensor removed. Decided after the accident that it would look better without it, and its pretty useless anyway - I've always thought if you don't know where the back of your car is, you should be driving a different car. |

| Daniel, I have a back one that works and a front one that doesn't so does this mean that my controller is working? If so I would consider buying a new one but I have heard that they are very expensive for what they are. |

| Robin, Not too sure about the front one is using the same controller or not. But a new sensor cost is AUD$230, and contact James @ Castle Hill Toyota. He will be able to help you out!! http://www.chtoyota.com.au/parts.asp |

| Well, the back of my Soarer looks so much nicer without the black sensor sticking out like a sore thumb. Oh, and if anyone is looking for a panel beater in Auckland, Challenge in Onehunga do a fantastic job - the paint match is perfect - even though it took them FOREVER to finish it. |

| I'll keep that mind if I ever stack my soarer in Auckland hehehe, Just joking mate, is there a section for recommending places or is it a bit dodgy with the people that pay for advertising so that we can be a member without paying a subscription? Lowered my car finally, looks far better, took me heaps to get the passenger side front correct as it seems it was different in the first place. Pretty close now, could do with another half turn, worry bout that tomorrow.
Dodgy pic, will change it for a better one tomorrow. |

| Blinky dash fixed!! I ended up going the whole hog and putting 63v caps in. It's gunna be freaky as most of the time it plain old didn't light up and some mornings I'd have no dash on the way to work FM expanders fitted as well, no more crappy am! Might look at the cd player tomorrow. As it only plays one track now and not well at that! Oh well party time, finish fitting the height controller and putting the girl back together tomorrow.
