Hi everyone, figured it was finally time to introduce my 1991 UZZ31. I've put some pictures of it up here: http://gallery.tyro.ca/Soarer/
The first 9 pics are from the shipping yard in Yokohama, and the next ones are how the car was delivered off the truck at my house. As you can see, there was some damage that showed up during transport across the Pacific... about $4500 worth of it according to the quote I got from the body shop. Not to mention it only had 3 of the OEM wheels on it and one off a Skyline. So it's been kind of a headache trying to get things sorted out, and right now my broker is working on getting the transport company's insurance to cover the damage they did... hopefully things will get cleared up sooner than later.
The last four pics in the gallery are a couple quick (and blurry...) pictures I took when I put on the rims and tires I picked up for the time being. They're 17x8, 17x9.5 rims off a 1997 Supra TT with 235s on the front and 275s on the back. Definitely an upgrade on the stance of the car already. It needs a bit of work done in the next little bit, namely replacing the bushings, adjusting the height rods for a bit of a drop, and fixing the TEMS switch, but after that I think it should be good to go.
I finally got the car plated last night, and went for a rip around town. All I can say is that it was awesome. I love this car.

Now i know someone else with a soarer near enough to actually meet. We'll go for a cruise sometime.
I might not even embarrass your V8 at first, hmmm. maybe i should get a "i made this end pretty because it's the only end you're gonna see" sticker for my back bumper for you to see.
Just kidding (kinda) can't wait to see your car in person.

Haha, Scott. I'll make a trip up to Edmonton sometime before the snow starts.
Here's a question for you more knowledgable Soarer owners: are the control arm/steering bushes for a North American SC400 the same as the ones on a Soarer?
